Interested in composting your kitchen scraps but don’t know where to start? Or are you a farmer, gardener or community garden that would like to start getting more organic matter to make more compost to grow more food? Maybe you lived in a community that offered municipal composting services and you don’t like the idea of sending your food scraps to the landfill. Come learn how composting can provide solutions to these concerns and more.

• A farm-grown, vegetarian lunch available for purchase 12pm-1pm

• Tour our farm between 1:15pm and 2pm. See how we grow without chemicals like pesticides and herbicides.

• Tropical Greens for Summer Planting 2-4pm.
How can you grow delicious greens in summer?
Learn about the kinds of salad greens you can grow that love the Florida summer heat! Get a chance to taste and purchase organic lovingly grown edible plants, chemical free!

• Plant sale at 4pm. Boost your garden with chemical free summer greens, spring veggies and herbs, fruit trees and flowers.

 

Individual class $20.
both classes $30.

Farm tour $10.

Lunch $10.

Full Farm Day with lunch $50.
