Growing Mushrooms

Discover the mycological queendom with an introductory foray into the history, current use, and future potential of fungi. There’s more to see than edible mushrooms but we will extensively cover their cultivation in this workshop! The spheres of fungal art, food, medicine, and mycoremediation will be covered and participants will learn how to cultivate oyster mushrooms in their garden/food forest. Seeing and growing mushrooms through a permaculture design process will also be discussed, equipping students with the tools and ideas to continue their mushroom growing journey whichever way it unfolds. Join us for the mycorevolution!
