Courses
In-Person Permaculture Design Course (PDC) should be fully paid 30 days before course start, after the first class there are no refunds.
If you are curious about one of our in-person courses we are happy to let you attend one class to see if it is for you. Over the last 10 years only a couple of people have not continued because they did not like it, one was because of not speaking enough English. Offering our classes is something we do because we recognize how vital it is to our future survival and quality of life, applying basic permaculture is an integral part of the solutions we need to implement.
Online PDC can be refunded until you activate (enroll) in the course.
Paypal
We use a Paypal shopping cart to process online payments, and if you prefer, the cart allows you to use a Debit or Credit card instead (the link is located below the big Paypal button). The only time it can become a problem is when your card is already linked with Paypal and you try to use it as a non Paypal card, in this case they have been insisting that you use your Paypal account. In that situation, and if you can, use a different card to avoid using Paypal if that is important.
Payment Plans
We offer payment plans through our Paypal shopping cart, which is subject to their approval. If not approved contact us and we'll find a way to work it out it with you. It is important to us that you complete the course so if we can we will work something out.
Zelle
Unfortunately we can't support Zelle as it is rife with fraud (see New York Times article of March 6, 2022).

Expectations
As an online course student you are entrusted with managing how you learn. We have invested a lot of time and effort into creating an online learning experience that can closely resemble a live one. There are practical steps interspersed throughout the course which you are expected to do, they are there to help you overcome the fact that you are online and it is, after all, a very practical hands-on subject.
Difficulties
Though we take care to offer a gentle learning experience you may find yourself not grasping some concept which we are attempting to put across. When this occurs we need you to reach out to us and let us know what is going on. (Specific contact details is shared once you have enrolled.) We offer both email, phone and zoom calls to get you through any difficulties and care deeply about you winning on course. We have regularly scheduled zoom calls where students can ask questions, share their experience and learn through guest speakers.
None of this will be much use unless you want to learn, which also includes taking advantage of the in-course self tests. We try to keep an eye out for those who fall behind, which can be due to unexpected events in your life, but can also be because you have difficulties grasping some part of the course. If you do experience a lack of understanding you will need to let us know or we may not be able to assist you.
Manners
As with most areas of life we also expect you to keep your manners in and treat others the way you want to be treated. Most permaculture students are good decent people who are also following the rules to happy living and rarely does any of our students become rude or toxic to others. We reserve the right to limit such behavior in group settings, through cutting you off from group activities, or any service as we find necessary. No refund will be offered.
Having said as much we will go out of our way to try to accommodate everyone's needs and do not casually take forceful actions against anyone without at least having attempted to curb the behavior. Most upsets comes from lack of understanding and misunderstandings and if willing can be quickly resolved. To date nobody have been cut off.
